Manifests Ireland specialise in the preparation and submission of electronic manifests to Customs.

The electronic submission of manifests will be required by all carriers of EU and Non EU cargo in by the 18th October 2014. We can help your organisation to prepare and be fully compliant prior to the deadline and insure a smooth transition when your clients submit AEP entries for Imports and Exports. We are already working within the Customs IT test environment for processing submissions.

We also offer arrival and departure information extracted from the customs arrival system providing accurate information required when making submissions to Customs.

Transocean was established in Dublin in January 1979 as an International Freight Forwarder and Customs Clearance Agent. Transocean originally set up as Forwarder for full loads and groupage to deep-sea markets. After 30 years in business the company is one of the largest ocean freight forwarders in Ireland in terms of volume. As the company developed over the years its activities expanded to include European Short Sea services and Air Freight.

We are Transport Matters, Freight Forwarders. We are a small group of owner-managers with almost 45 years of shipping and forwarding experience. We are 100% Irish owned and are based in Booterstown, Dublin. We were established in 2008, initially as a freight consultancy company and whilst we still offer consultancy services, our core business is handling our client’s shipments from start to finish. We ship containers [lots of them], groupage, airfreight and road freight. We enjoy handling exports just as much as imports and for some clients, we handle both their exports and imports.

Day to day operations and quotations are handled by Greg Fields and Derek Ryan. Between them, Greg and Derek have worked for almost 45 years in shipping and by this stage they have probably shipped [almost] every possible commodity to every possible destination in the world.

Our clients keep us busy. Our goal is to keep them happy.

Karen Twomey is our office manager and as well as looking after almost everything else, she is primarily responsible for all accounting matters such as making sure we pay all our suppliers on time and also that our clients pay us on time.

Most of our clients are repeat clients and they trust us to handle their shipments every day, week or month.

Our biggest priority is to consistently meet or exceed our clients’ expectations. We work on the basis that every future booking is dependent on our clients’ experience of the last. We see our relationship with each client as a journey rather than a destination.
