Wells Cargo Logistics Ltd have become the latest IIFA Members to become accredited with the Good Distribution Passport (GDP). Speaking about the GDP accreditation in July 2018, Tom Thornton said “This is recognition of the hard work and dedication of the team at Wells Cargo, where quality services are a priority.”

“The GDP Passport ensures that the highest distribution and quality standards are adhered to. We look forward to continuing in our support of Irish Exporters involved in the manufacture and sale of pharmaceutical, medical device, and bio tech products globally. These sectors are vital for the continued growth of the Irish economy.”

Launched in October 2009 by Mr. Patrick O’Mahony, CEO of the Irish Medicine Board, the Good Distribution Practice Passport plays a key role in assuring quality of the supply chain and distribution of pharmaceutical and medical devices products. Manufacturers can then ensure that pharmaceutical and medical devices products are transported, stored and handled according the GMP and GDP regulations and guidelines by dealing with GDP Passport holders.
