The Irish Logistics & Transport Awards (ILTAs) are the Irish Freight, Logistics and Transport Industry’s annual celebration of the industrious and creative work of the Industry. This industry is integral for the successful operation and function of Irish Business yet it is only through events such as this that such diligent work has an opportunity to be recognised.
About Pamela Quinn
Pamela Quinn joined Kuehne + Nagel, at a time when its Irish office had a total of 30 employees in 2001. Starting in Accounts, Pamela then asked to set up a new Human Resources (HR) function for the Business whilst studying for a formal HR Qualification externally. Four years later, she had succeeded in firmly positioning herself as a pivotal part of the business. Her work ethic and determination paid off once again when she was promoted to the roles of Dublin Operations Director, National Operations Director and finally to her current role as Managing Director of the firm.
During her tenure as MD, Pamela has overseen a growth of turnover and net profitability by a dramatic 100% in a 3 year period, firmly placing Kuehne + Nagel as the largest Freight + Logistics company in Ireland.
From the outset, Pamela has had a clear and consistent vision of where she wants the company to go, which she credits with always starting with the end in mind. Her Colleagues comment that she is an inspiration leader with her high degree of emotional intelligence, questioning style, and above all her charisma. Her transformational style has seen Kuehne + Nagel be the first to market with a broad range of customer solutions and saw her win Image Business Woman of the Year 2016.
Pamela has continued to be recognised for her exceptional leadership skills. In 2018, she was ranked in the Top 25 Most Influential Women in Ireland. More recently in 2019, she was awarded the accolade of Ireland’s Most Trusted Leader by the Great Place to Work Institute.
Pamela Quinn joins John Tuohy (2018), co-founder of Nightline, and Sean McCool (2017), Chairman of International Airline Marketing Limited (IAM), as Winners of this esteemed Award.

Kuehne & Nagel were also receipt of the Freight Forwarding Company of the Year 2019 and the ILTA’s Overall Logistics & Transport Excellence Award 2019 while DHL Global Forwarding received Employer of the Year Award. IIFA Membership was also represented by CPN Cargo Partner Network and Expeditors, nominated for other Awards and IIFA itself as a Member of the Logistics Associate Apprenticeship Consortium, which won the Logistics & Transport Team of the Year Award.
